Somaskanda

A representation of the Hindu deities Shiva and Parvati with their son Skanda, the god of war. This representation emerged during the Pallava Dynasty in southern India (c. sixth to eighth centuries CE) and depicts a four-armed Shiva sitting beside his consort Parvati, with the infant Skanda dancing in ecstasy between them.
