Handmade paper produced in Sanganer in Rajasthan. It is typically made using traditional methods and natural materials such as cotton rags, silk and banana trunk fibres, flower petals and leaves. The craft gained popularity after papermakers, known as kagzis, received patronage from Raja Man Singh II in 1728.
