A Pallava ruler who succeeded Permeshvaraverman II and ruled over parts of Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh in the eighth century CE. He is credited with having built the Vaikuntha Perumal Temple in Kanchipuram. The second phase of the Mahendra Style of architecture ended with his reign.
