A demon in Hindu mythology who is said to have originated from the earwax of Vishnu. He is believed to have been killed along with Kaitabha by Vishnu’s manifestation Hayagriva for stealing the Vedas from Brahma. In some versions of the myth, Vishnu tricks them into killing each other.
