A Sufi romance written in Hindi by the poet Mulla Da’ud during the reign of Firoz Shah Tughlaq (r. 1351–38). The story was finished in 1379 and is illustrated in several manuscripts currently held at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya, Government Museum and Art Gallery, Chandigarh, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Rylands Collection and several other public and private collections.
