Textile designer and researcher, Dr Anna-Louise Meynell will draw on insights from her Impart + Nalli Fellowship research into the textile traditions of the Singpho of Northeast India and Jinghpaw of Myanmar. Exploring weaving practices, garments, and motifs, she will trace how Singpho textiles reflect the long histories and enduring connections of communities whose shared ancestry predates present-day political borders.
