Venkatapatiraya (b. n.d.; d. 1614) was a ruler of the Aravidu dynasty, the fourth and last dynasty that ruled over the Vijayanagara empire from 1570 to 1646. He was the son of Tirumala Deva Raya, who proclaimed himself emperor of Vijayanagar in 1570. He succeeded his brother Sriranga — who ruled between 1572 and 1585 — and established his capital at Chandragiri in present-day Andhra Pradesh.
