A deity personifying the earth. She is also known as Bhumi Devi and is considered an incarnation of Mahalakshmi. She is the consort of Vishnu’s incarnation Varaha and is often represented alongside him, with a lotus in one hand and the other hand held in the abhaya mudra or lolahastamudra.
