Also known as Muyalaka or Muyalakan, he is a dwarf within Hindu mythology who represents spiritual ignorance and has the head of a demon alongwith the body of an infant. He is usually depicted being trampled under the foot of Nataraja, which signifies the suppression of ignorance required to attain spiritual knowledge.
